04 — Inside the Atelier
The Hands Behind It All
Where cloth becomes character and stitches become stories.
Our Space
A Place of
Devotion
The Valérian atelier is not a factory. It is a studio — a quiet space where cloth is studied, patterns are drafted, and garments are built by hand. No machines cut our cloth. No conveyor moves our work forward. Time is the only engine.
Our London atelier occupies a light-filled Georgian townhouse near Savile Row. Our Paris studio sits in the Marais. Each space is designed to inspire the kind of focus that excellence demands.
The Artisans
Masters of
Their Discipline
Every artisan at Valérian has trained for a minimum of ten years before being entrusted with a client garment. Our team spans three generations of tailoring knowledge.
The Method
Three Stages.
Two Hundred Hours.
The Cloth Selection
From the world's finest mills — Loro Piana, Holland & Sherry, Dormeuil — we source only what meets our standard. Over 5,000 swatches are available for each commission.
The Pattern & Cut
Every pattern is drafted from scratch — no blocks, no shortcuts. Pure bespoke geometry, shaped to the individual body and bearing of each client.
The Final Fitting
The garment speaks. We listen. Adjustments are made with surgical precision until perfection is achieved and the silhouette sings.
"The hand remembers what the machine never knew. This is why we build every garment by touch."
